Peanut came to rescue as a dog that didn’t know what it was to live inside with people that wanted him to be part of the family. He was used to living with 10+ dogs, cats, and kids in rural Missouri. But now that he’s been living here in Minnesota with his foster family, he has learned the good family dog life.
He has learned to sleep quietly in his kennel at night, go potty outside, and walk nicely on a leash. These are still being perfected but he’s doing great! Peanut does mark when he's new to environment, but that goes away once he's settled, and is easily managed with a belly band.
This sweet boy loves to be pet, he just can’t get enough snuggles. He has the nose of a hound and just a couple short walks every day makes him so happy and tired for good nap sessions. He prefers to be laying on the floor. He is quiet and a nice medium sized dog.
With a little more training or an obedience class this boy will make a great addition to any family.
Adoption Fee: $395

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
