Hi, my name is Gibbs! (Giblet, Gilbert, Gibbles, little dog...) I am an approximately 10-12 week old, male, 8 pound pup, we do not know breed but are guessing a possible Heeler mix due to the coloring. I am the sweetest little boy! I love my people (kids and adults!) I may bark at new people, but I quickly learn they are okay and want to give them 1000 kisses and maybe an ear nibble, oops!
I am a puppy, so I am working on potty training and do best on a schedule (go out after I nap, eat, and every hour or so). I am not sure about this leash thing, it just stops me from running around and chasing leaves, which I love to do! I play well with the small resident dog (tug of war, zoomies, etc) I live with, but I always want the toy he has, the bed he is in or to be laying on the person he is laying on, but I am a sweetie so I usually get what I want. I love to snuggle up on my foster mom and dad and play with the kids (6 & 10), but I don't know manners quite yet, so I will jump on people and may scratch them with my nails by accident.
I go potty every time I am taken outside, but sometimes forget I need to poop outside, or only go potty outside and go on a pad or the floor, but I am working on it, I am still a pup! I don't like to be alone in my kennel when others are in the house or if I hear noises in shared walls and will make it known with my howl, but I do sleep all night in my kennel and after a few whines I will settle in my kennel when my foster family eats or when I need some quiet time. I love being around people, and having another dog to play with to keep me entertained and stimulated. My foster parents think I am the sweetest and easiest foster puppy they have ever had and want me to have the best home I can, is that with you?
My rescue is unsure of what I'm mixed with but they are thinking I might get to be about 25-35 pounds (maybe more, who
knows!). Due to the likelyhood I have some Cattle Dog in me, my family should be prepared to keep me well exercised and stimulated so I stay out of trouble.

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
