When you think of a black lab, do these traits come to mind? Intelligent, eager to please, friendly, affectionate, loyal, and playful? This is Kenny and so much more. Kenny is a very active lab who loves the outdoors: walking, playing, swimming, wandering in the yard, and laying in the sun. He also can be found lying around inside his foster home right next to any human who will love him, but especially his fosters. He wants to be either near or touching his preferred humans. He loves belly rubs, hugs, and lots of petting. He basically loves any human contact! Kenny has a story to tell and has gone through multiple placements in the past; he originates from Missouri, where it is believed he was dumped. Kenny knows some commands: sit, come, break (to release pointing), and wait. He generally walks well on a leash, although has a strong pull when his prey drive kicks in. Kenny is working on calming when excited. A perfect adopter for this handsome boy would be an active adopter with a fenced yard. Kenny has so much love to give! He plays hard and loves even harder. With firm guidance and training, this boy will steal your heart and provide you with much love, fun, and companionship. Will it be you?
