Hiya, Friend! My name is Linden and I am a fun-loving boy searching for a fun loving family!
Some of my favorite things include: treats, playing with my canine friends, treats, playing with toys, treats, cuddling, and did I mention treats? I love treats, and I'll do nearly anything for them! I am a very, very intelligent boy and, since I love treats so much, I am very easy to train. I will excel at any task you put in front of me. I am already potty trained, crate trained, learned how to use a dog door, and am about 75% trained to "sit" already (sometimes I get distracted by my foster siblings and I forget what foster mom said.)
I have lots of canine friends in my foster home and I love them all! My ideal forever home would have another dog my size that I can play chase with in a fenced yard. I love, love, love playing chase with my foster siblings. I have also met cats. I lived with a cat in my previous foster home and had no issues. The cats in my current foster home are sassy, and I'm a little afraid of them.
I have met a few people, and I'm learning that people are my friends. I was found on the streets of Texas with my momma when I was about six months old. A kind woman took me in and got me all fixed up and I stayed with her for about a year learning all about how to be a loved house dog. She said I was ready for the next step, and I moved all the way to a foster home in Minnesota! At first, I didn't know my foster family and was shy. I would take treats from their hands, but I didn't want to be pet. They respected my space and my hesitance, and I really appreciated that. It only took me a couple days to realize that they are awesome people and we are best friends now! Getting pets and getting my ears scratched are two of my new favorite things.
I can't wait to meet you and receive all the love (and treats) you have to give!
Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
