Hi, I'm Ebeneezer, but you can call me Eb! I'm a sweet old soul who came to the rescue from Texas. I've made myself right at home here in Minnesota, and now I'm hoping there's a family out there who will give me permanent cuddles to warm me through these winters!
I don't have a mean bone in my body, and my favorite thing to do is follow my foster mom around the home. She calls me her little shadow, but I just love my people so much I don't want to leave them. I'm perfectly crate trained and sleep through the night without ever waking anyone up; even if they want to sleep in! My foster mom can't understand why anyone would want to give me up, because all I want is to fall asleep on someone's lap.
Although I would like to think otherwise, I'm not a young 'un anymore, so I need help going up and down stairs. Luckily, my mom says I'm pretty portable! My arthritis certainly doesn't stop me from loving my daily walks and sniffing every rock and bush I come across. My hearing and eyesight isn't the best (although my mom thinks I may just have selective hearing, in true Jack Russell form), but it won't stop me from following you and snuggling up to you.
My ideal home would be a relaxed household where I can curl onto my people's laps (or into a warm snuggly bed) and enjoy my "retirement." Do you have a place in your heart and home for me?
