Puma (Puma-Bear, Pumers)

Pum is the best of many worlds. He is loving and attentive, but also is an independent soul. He loves to be outside and scratches at the door to go out or be let in. He enjoys just being outside and looking at birds, squirrels, leaves, or anything that moves around. Puma loves walks and dog parks. He comes as soon as you call. He takes treats very softly when handed to him, but can also catch them if they’re thrown. He gets along with other dogs (gender and size doesn’t seem to matter), kids, and visitors and is always excited to meet new people. If other dogs are arguing he places his body between them to stop the fight and doesn’t like it to go further. He loves to snuggle in bed with his person and lay nice and close.

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

  • Wellness check
  • Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
