Meet Heidi!! Heidi is the sweetest, happiest girl you could ever hope to meet.  When she arrived in rescue she was positively round. The poor thing weighed 32 pounds! But she didn't let that get her down. She couldn't get around too well, but she made the effort to give kisses and get snuggles. Well, she's been working hard and is down to 25 pounds. She also had a dental where she had 38 teeth removed! This girl has been through it, but you'd never know it. She loves to pay and go for walks and snuggle, snuggle, snuggle. She's climbing up and down off the couch now (using stairs), and won't hesitate to come on in for a belly rub. Heidi is great with other dogs and loves everyone. She does need a home who can commit to helping her lose about 7 more pounds. She needs to be on a raw diet for the rest of her life to compensate for her past health issues and current obesity. If you can make that commitment and are in search of a bundle of love to add to your family, then Heidi's the gal for you!!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
