Hi my name is Mabel and my foster mom says I have beautiful hound dog ears and big brown eyes. I'm a 40 lb 10 month old coon hound mix. My foster mom says I look like a coon hound pointer mix. I haven't met a person I don't love. I want to play with everyone I meet. I'm still working on walking pretty on a leash. I am learning not to pull and bark at everyone I want to meet. I love my walks in the woods. I would do best in a fenced yard because I love to run and play all the time. I would love a furry
playmate that is comfortable with my puppy energy. I am a hound with a strong prey drive so I probably wouldn't get along with cats.
I LOVE kids but because I'm still learning my manners I would do best with older kids. I love my 12 and 14 year old human foster brothers so much. After playing I love to cuddle with anyone that wants to snuggle me.
My foster mom says I am very very smart. I learn new commands quickly but am a bit independent. I would do best with a strong pack leader that wants to take the time to teach me all sorts of things. I think that obedience classes sound very fun and would help me be my best self. I'm still working on potty training but am almost there. I do really well in my kennel and like to sleep a lot at night.
