Hi, my name is Xena! I’m a Great Pyrenees mix (maybe with an Anatolian Shepherd) so I am fluffy, tall and lanky. I can also be independent and stubborn at times, but overall, I’m very patient and relaxed. I have a silly side, too! You can often find me rolling and zooming around, especially after breakfast. I love being around people, and I get along great with children and other dogs.

On top of having a great personality, I also have excellent house manners, if I do say so myself. I’m kennel trained, potty trained, and I stay off the furniture. I may be tall, but I would never counter surf, so you don’t have to worry about defending your food from me! I also act as your own personal doorbell, and will bark to let you know when someone is at the door.

My favorite thing to do is being around you! I love it the most when you brush my fur. My home is where my heart is, so I don’t like going too far from my house and yard. I also don’t do well in cars, as I get motion sick easily, though it does help to have an empty stomach and a smooth ride.

I’m a very easy-going dog, and a loyal companion! I’m looking for a forever home with someone who has extra love to give!

Adoption Fee: $495

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
