Cheddar (aka Cheddy Bear) is a wonderfully sweet pup. He came to us in pretty rough shape but has recovered so very nicely (his hair will continue to grow back in). He has been a little shy and gets a little nervous when he’s not sure what to expect. However, he loves pets and cuddles and is warming up a little more each day. He finds comfort with the resident beagles and his crate, which he will retreat to voluntarily. He sleeps very well there and is quiet all night. Cheddar has had very few accidents in the house and is very close to being fully housebroken on a schedule.
He also loves to play chase around the yard with the beagles. He does like to use his voice during playtime so shared-walls may not be the best place for Cheddar. He’s learned to sit and is getting pretty good at “down”. He’s a smart boy and should pick up on other commands fairly quickly. Cheddar will make his new people fall in love very quickly. One glance in his soulful eyes and with his charmingly adorable ways, you will be his!
