Reya ... a ray of light in a time that feels so confusing to most of us. This beauty has stolen our hearts from the moment we laid eyes on her. She is a gentle, kind soul. She loves to play with other dogs, is so so gentle with all humans and kids she meets, loves chasing squirrels and is learning to love going for walks ... although she is learning the command "leave it" bc all she really wants to do is go after all those chipmunks and squirrels that keep teasing her! She sits on command. Has no food aggression whatsoever. She is full potty trained and sleeps wonderfully at night. Reya does have some vision impairment but don't let that scare you away. She is very self aware and while she bumps into things she moves slowly (unless she's playing with other dogs so you have to watch her during that time :), and she uses her feet as a sort of "walking stick" always checking her surroundings. Stairs can be scary for her at first but we are working on teaching her "step up/down" so she can begin to trust that she is safe and knows what to expect. Rey rey as my kids lovingly call her, is the sweetest of dogs and would bring joy to any family that took her in.

Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
