Hailey LOVES all people, LOVES new dogs, and LOVE LOVE LOVES walks.

She's is fantastic at meeting new dogs and would love a playmate in her forever home. Hailey does wonderfully in the car and is a good leash walker. She sleeps perfectly through the night in her crate, and is happy to sleep for 10hrs straight.  Hailey is a pleaser and is quickly learning house manners. She knows now that she needs to save the beagle howl for special occasions, and so she has turned into a very quiet beagle. She has only had two accidents in the first two weeks in her foster home, so she just needs a little fine-tuning before she is 100% reliable with her potty skills.

Hailey was an outdoor farm dog and she is loving being a house dog. She is a velcro dog with her foster mom and is not happy when foster mom is out of sight. Her forever home should be dedicated to helping Hailey learn to self-soothe and her ideal forever home would have people home a lot, even after Covid-19. Hailey's ideal forever home would also have a physical fence - she is a hound and loves to be outside smelling the ground. Before spaying and during the transition to her foster home, Hailey was occasionally grumpy when woken up. This is improving as she settles in, but any children in her future forever home should be dog savvy so as not to surprise her when she is in a deep sleep.

Hailey has so many great characteristics- her tail is always wagging and there is always a smile on her face.  She LOVES playing with toys and LOVES food puzzles. Hailey is an A-1 cuddler. She loves to bury her head into you or under blankets and thrives on love. Aside from meal time and walks, her favorite time is cuddling on the couch on the evenings. This sweet goofball deserves a home that can treat her like the gem she is.

Adoption Fee: $395

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
