Hi everybody! My name is River. I’m an adorable mystery mix puppy and the sweetest little girl! I pretty much know how to sit and lay down if you’re patient with me. I sleep through the night. I love to snuggle and I do pretty good walking on a leash. My favorite toys are soft with squeakers in them, a chewy textured, bully sticks and yack sticks.

My potty training is a work in progress. I will use a potty pad if I need to in the house. Outside it takes me a while to not get distracted and start sniffing the grass and realize that’s where I get to do my business - as to be expected of a puppy! I’m good with all dogs so far however, I've been showing some resource guarding with other pups in my foster home so I'll need a family that is diligent about training me while I'm young so I turn into a good girl as an adult.  I’m not cat tested and because of COVID-19 I’ve been around limited people so I really hope you’re ready to love me for LIFE!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
