Hello, My name is Kaia and I love squirrels, chipmunks and being outside. My early days involved some difficult situations. I had two mean sisters. Since being rescued I am working on doing my best interacting with a loving family. I love being outside and playing so much, I forget that I weigh 65 pounds and get a little goofy. I do best with a fenced yard and plenty of room to run. I have been through basic manner training and am excellent in my potty habits. I am a super fast learner and I am very smart.
Let’s talk about Walks!!! I love, love, love, love them. I have a lot of energy and love to walk and run with my owners. I have been working hard on loose leash walking but sometimes my nose overtakes my brain and I forget to walk when I smell squirrelies or see other doggies. After a day of good exercise, I like to crash peacefully around where the family is or put myself in my kennel. Regarding my kennel, I don’t mind sleeping there but want to be with my family as much as possible. I have some separation anxiety and don’t always like the kennel, when they are gone.
If you know pitties, you know we’re really comedic, loving and loyal. I’m all those things, and love to snuggle on the couch and on the bed. Also as a typical pittie, I can be a bit bullheaded. I thrive in a home with a strong pack leader who gives me the correct direction I need to thrive. I would do best in a home with either no kids or older, dog savvy kids as I tend to try to take advantage of their weakness if given the chance. I love meeting all people, including kids, outside of my home tho and can be a perfect angel when you tell me I need to be.
