Hi! My name is Lennox, but my nickname is Lexi, which I respond to best. I am a 5 month old puppy who likes to play, explore my surroundings and has bursts of energy, but I also am a very good snuggler and will cuddle up and watch a movie with you at the end of the night.
When I go to new places and meet new people I am shy for the first hour or two (which is understandable given all of the new people I've been introduced to as I've moved around from shelters to foster homes), but then I open up and love to be played with and snuggled with.
I sometimes get nervous walking through doorways if I don't know what is on the other side, so I am working with treats to get more confident entering new rooms. As a teething puppy, I like to chew on anything in sight, but my foster family has bought me a lot of toys and bones (which will come with me to my forever home) and these have really helped curb chewing on items that aren't mine. At first, I was a little nervous to go outside and go potty, but I am getting better. I am also learning how to ring a bell to let my family know I need to go outside. I am good on a leash, but having a fenced in yard is even more ideal to give me room to run and play and gain confidence in my surroundings. When I get all my energy out, I sleep through the entire night in my kennel with no crying or whining. I’m great with kids of all ages as long as they pet me and show me love. I am very very intelligent, and within 1 day of working with a spray-scent bark collar I have learned to not bark at passing dogs. Usually it takes weeks to teach other puppies to do that! I know that because I learn so quickly, that if my forever family has patience to train me and teach me their routines and rules, within a few weeks it will feel like I have been a part of their family forever. I am a very special girl and I can’t wait to find my forever home.

More about Lennox
Good with Dogs, Good with Kids, Good with Adults, Playful
Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
