Hi my name is Theodore, but you can call me Theo or Teddy or little man or say hey cutie! Call me whatever you want or just look down because I’ll be right there. I’m crazy about people, just love them all! I happily wag my tail or shake my whole body really and want to greet everyone I see.
I also like other dogs, but I must admit that while I’m small in stature, I’m about 8ft tall in my head so occasionally my attitude will come out if another dog rubs me the wrong way. This really means that if I get growled at, I’ll growl back and louder. If I’m over stimulated by lots of dogs, I could get crabby and since I’ve grown out of puppy-hood (okay barely!), they sometimes bother me because they have puppy brain and I already speak fluent dog. Yes, I’m a mature 2-year-old! My foster mom says this means people have to be careful with me so that my big mouth doesn’t get me in trouble I can’t handle. She wants to protect me because for some reason she doesn’t see me as 8ft tall??
My foster mom calls me a jumping bean, because again, I may be small in stature, but I can do pretty big things. Don’t let the size fool you, I can jump every bit as high as the big dogs can. Spring in my step is an understatement. Again, my worry wart foster mom doesn’t like me jumping down from some of the things I can jump up on because she says that my tiny little legs could get hurt. I don’t know about that, but it is a thing that happens she tells me!
I’m usually quiet in a crate, maybe a little bit of whining, but not bad they tell me. I walk pretty good on a leash too and do like to go places! I’m working on my potty training and have gotten better already.
If you’re into hanging out and cuddling too, I may be the perfect little dude for you! Please apply for me and lets meet!
Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
