Grady Pickles (GP for short) is a great 9 month old puppy who is house trained, walks great on a leash and is learning to run on a leash. He loves to go for walks but is learning to love his harness but once you get started he is just fine.

GP is still a puppy and learning things. He knows “sit” and loves to play with a ball in the backyard. 50/50 chance that he will bring it back to you but he is also great at playing by himself in the backyard. He loves to hang out in the backyard and would love for you to hang out with him. His second favorite thing is taking his shift at neighborhood watch and watching out the window. He really likes watching garbage trucks drive by-they are BIG trucks!
Grady is still learning how to meet people and may bark a lot at first. He barks out of fear and treats help.He tends to fear men most. It would be important for his new family to know they will need to help him work on this. He is such a sweet guy and really smart!  He would be great with classes.
He is not crate trained but is pretty good free in the house. Make sure the garbage is secure when going to bed. ;) He sleeps in different places in the house, he’s pretty independent but likes to know where you are. He take a 2.5 mile walk before work each day and another one after work.

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
