Are you ready for the cutest pup in town!? Well my foster mom says, that's ME! I came all the way from Texas after my rescue friends down there found me very hurt on the side of the road.  I had a broken pelvis and broken rear leg. They fixed me all up and now I'm pretty perfect although my vet says I need to stay at a good weight (11-12 lbs) and should be on glucosamine to keep me joints healthy.  

I love, love, love people! I'm the best cuddle bug and can lounge with the best of them.  I love to play "catch-me-if-you-can" and race around the yard in short spirts. After play time though, I'm ready for the couch.  Yep, just call me couch potato and let's snuggle up!

I'm doing amazing at my potty training! I hold it all day long in my kennel while my foster parents are at work and then when on a good schedule at home, I'm 100% awesome! I do really well with other dogs of all sizes and I did get to smell a kitty at the pet store but haven't lived with one yet so no guarantees on that.  I've met some kids at events and think they will be okay as long as they are nice to me. I'm pretty amazing as you can tell.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

 

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
