Pita is a happy, playful, sweet, funny, and adorable pup. She loves to play with her, also younger, foster beagle sister. She really loves her foster people too. Often she will not want to go outside to potty unless a person goes with her. Her favorite toys are ropes  and tennis balls. She loves to chew on bully sticks, yak milk bars, nylabones, and sticks and mulch she finds in the yard. She also loves to chew on hands and toes so we always have a toy in hand when we play with her. She’s a baby and is easily redirected! She is very smart and already knows how to sit and lay down on command!

Pita likes to go on walks and is doing well on a leash, but passing cars are still a little scary for her. She is a good sleeper, an excellent cuddler, and loves everyone. She is not used to being alone and follows her people around the house, so she may benefit from having a dog brother or sister in her new home if going to be left alone for longer periods.

All in all, Pita is a wonderful puppy who will give her (very lucky) adopter abundant love, laughs and, loyalty!

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
