History: Jax was surrendered to Healing Hearts Rescue when his family could no longer take care of him due to life changing circumstances. 

My Rescue Bio:

Did you see my ears!? Aren't they just the best? Well, if you think so, wait til you meet me! My foster momma says I'm the "best boy ever".

I'm about 6 years old, 7 pounds and full of snuggles. I love all new people and dogs I've had the chance to meet. I picked up on that potty training thing that so many people rave about very quickly and also will gladly go right in my crate if you ask me to. Every once in awhile I will bark if I hear a strange noise, but someone has to protect all you humans from strange things, right? After all, my big awesome ears pick up on things way faster than you will ever be able to with your silly little human ears.  

I also really love going on walks with my foster family.  Just open that drawer with my leash and harness in it and I come running! It's so much fun to explore and see what the world has going on around me.  Sniff, Sniff, Sniff! Maybe we can go on some adventures together or play chase in the yard?

Once we are all worn out from our big day, I'd sure love to snuggle up with you or maybe even under the covers.  It's so cozy in there. My foster mom says sometimes she has trouble finding me because I find the best snuggle places in the house and curl up so small she can't see me.  I'm pretty sneaky like that.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

 

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
